Asparagus on SALE…!!!

Phone call conversation:-

C.G.: ” Hey, Arina!…I am on my way to Sunflower to grab some asparagus.It’s on sale and it’s really cheap.Do you want some?”

A.S.: ” Yes, please…Choose the best one!”

And then, I ended up making dinner and lunch..dinner and lunch…dinner and lunch repeatedly until there is no more asparagus left in the fridge…

Pollock fish marinated with onion,lemon grass,paprika,rosemary and jalapeno pepper + brussel sprout and scallop+asparagus

Compacted cod fish marinated with Barbeque sauce + potato wedges+ asparagus with cottage cheese

Bread Pudding with Raisins and Dates 

(Before)

 

Baked in an oven (400 degrees Fahrenheit) for 30 minutes

 

(After)

(After 45 minutes – It was supposed to be only 30 minutes, but…..I was busy doing my Statistic assignment upstairs and the pudding had to be in the oven for another 15 minutes…So, this is the end result..!!!)

Moral of the story: Please set the timer if you’re planning to bake. My bad, I didn’t set on the timer…Serve you right, Arina!…(Tapi boleh makan lagi, on the surface saje terlebih garing..hohoho)

A.S.: ” Kayu-kayan yang telah ditebang dikutip dan disusun lalu menjadi dapur kayu yang berasap… Jutaan ‘Terima kasih’ diucapkan kepada Senora ‘Laila Abdullah’ kerana telah memberi latihan yang cukup baik pada saya sewaktu di tanah air..hehehe”

H.Y.: ” Weh, ni ko masak ke?”

A.S.: ” Ye la aku masak wehhhhhh…haha..haaaaa…kene la masak weh nak makan..kempunan aku ni ha…”

H.Y.: ” Wah..ni da boleh bukak restoren da ni..(saje puji)..haha.. tapi konfius gak, ko gi sane belajar masak ke belajar agriculture?..heheh

A.S.: ” Kehadapan Cik H.Y. yang dihormati, mengapakah perlu berkonfius pule..bukankah dalam meniti arus kehidupan semua itu adalah proses pembelajaran…haaa..kire pakej la ni aku datang sini belajar macam2..baru la MULTI-TASKING..yeeeehaaaawwww”

S.T.: “Alahaii…sayu nyerrr statment tuh…nanti ada masa kelapangan mai la nak rasa sesuap nasi kat sini pulak…hehehe boleh makan seadanya…”

A.S.: “Iye..boleh makan alhamdulillah..sesungguhnya sesuap nasik itu adalah amat berharga..sebutir nasik diibaratkan setitik peluh petani..haaaa..hargailah nasik…”

A.S.:” Tak perlu resepi kerana campak bodo-bodo je..hakikatnya ini semua perlu dilakukan demi mendapat sesuap nasi dan meneruskan perjalanan yang penuh liku onak dan duri di sini..haaaaaaa..=P”

F.I.: “wuaaa..sedih plak dengar..xpe2 yg pentingg Arina happy kite pon happy..ok,nnti u da blik cni I wat open table just for u k..hehe”
